Our commitment

Music With Temmykeys (MWT) is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including those with visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor disabilities. We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

In the United Kingdom, public and commercial websites are subject to accessibility obligations under the Equality Act 2010. MWT takes those obligations seriously and works continuously to identify and resolve accessibility barriers.

What we have done to improve accessibility

Semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading hierarchy
All images include alt text or are marked as decorative
Interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard
Sufficient colour contrast ratios across public-facing pages
Form inputs have visible labels and descriptive error messages
Focus indicators are visible on interactive elements
ARIA labels applied to icon-only buttons (e.g. social links, navigation icons)
Booking and enquiry forms work without JavaScript dependency for core data

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the website may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations include:

Third-party embedded content — if any iframes or external media players are used, their accessibility depends on the third-party provider and may not be fully within our control.
PDF documents — any PDF files linked from the site (e.g. policy documents) may not be fully accessible to screen readers. Contact us for an accessible alternative if needed.
Complex interactive components — some modal dialogs and dropdown menus in the supplier and admin portals are in active development and may have incomplete ARIA roles.
Supplier-uploaded images — images provided by suppliers may lack descriptive alt text. We are working to ensure all supplier profiles include meaningful descriptions.

How we tested this website

This website was last tested in June 2026. Testing was carried out by the MWT development team using:

Manual keyboard navigation testing across all public pages
Colour contrast analysis using browser devtools and online contrast checkers
VoiceOver screen reader on macOS
Browser zoom testing at 150% and 200%
Automated linting via ESLint accessibility rules (eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y)

We intend to carry out a third-party accessibility audit as the platform grows. This statement will be updated to reflect the results of that audit.
