Terms of Service

Music With Temmykeys (“MWT”) is a managed music booking service based in the United Kingdom. We act as a commercial agent connecting clients with independent music suppliers (musicians, bands, teachers, venue operators, and equipment hire providers).

MWT is not a direct supplier of music services. We facilitate the booking process, coordinate logistics, and handle payment administration on behalf of both parties. The underlying service is provided by the supplier, not MWT.

These terms govern your use of our website at temmykeys.com and any booking services arranged through MWT.

The MWT booking process works as follows:

1. Enquiry — You submit a booking request through our website. This is not a booking confirmation and does not create a binding agreement.
2. Review — MWT reviews your request and checks supplier availability. We aim to respond within 1 business day.
3. Quotation — If a suitable supplier is available, we provide a written quotation including the final price, deposit amount, and any specific terms.
4. Confirmation — A booking is confirmed when you accept the quotation in writing and pay the deposit. No booking is guaranteed until deposit payment is received.
5. Balance payment — The remaining balance is due as stated in your quotation (typically 7 days before the event, or as otherwise agreed).

MWT reserves the right to decline any enquiry at our discretion, including where no suitable supplier is available.

All prices displayed on our platform are estimates only unless confirmed in a written quotation. Final prices depend on event type, duration, location, supplier availability, and any specific requirements.

MWT includes a coordination and administration fee in all quoted prices. This covers our service in sourcing, vetting, coordinating, and administering your booking. The total price you are quoted is the total you pay — we do not charge hidden fees.

Payments are made to MWT, who holds funds on behalf of the supplier and releases payment after the service has been delivered. This protects both parties.

All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Deposits are required to confirm a booking. The deposit amount will be stated in your quotation and is typically a percentage of the total booking fee.

Deposits are non-refundable except in the following circumstances:

• The supplier cancels the booking — in this case, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid
• MWT is unable to source a suitable replacement and the booking cannot proceed — a full refund will be issued
• You cancel within your statutory cooling-off period (see Section 5)

If you are a consumer (booking for personal, non-business purposes), the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel an online purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.

However, by submitting a booking enquiry and requesting that we commence the booking process immediately, you acknowledge and agree that the right to cancel may be lost once the service has commenced (i.e., once we have begun sourcing a supplier and incurred costs on your behalf).

If the event date falls within the 14-day cooling-off period, we will require your express consent to waive your cancellation right in order to proceed with the booking.

This section does not affect any other cancellation or refund rights described in Section 4 or our Cancellation Policy.

Suppliers on the MWT platform are independent contractors, not employees of MWT. By joining as a supplier, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information on your profile
• Maintain all necessary professional qualifications, licenses, and insurance for your services
• Comply with all applicable UK laws, including those relating to employment status (IR35), music licensing (PRS, PPL), and safeguarding (where working with under-18s)
• Respond to booking offers within the stated deadline
• Honour all confirmed bookings and maintain professional standards
• Notify MWT immediately if you become unable to fulfil a confirmed booking

MWT reserves the right to suspend or remove any supplier who breaches these obligations or whose conduct brings the platform into disrepute.

All content on the MWT platform (text, design, brand, code) is owned by Music With Temmykeys unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Supplier profile content (bio, photos, descriptions) remains the intellectual property of the supplier. By uploading content, you grant MWT a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the platform for the purpose of facilitating bookings.

In accordance with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, all reviews on our platform must be genuine and tied to a verified, completed booking. Posting false or misleading reviews is a criminal offence under that Act.

MWT acts as an intermediary and cannot be held liable for the quality, suitability, or delivery of services provided by suppliers, except where we are directly at fault.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any booking or use of our platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to MWT for that booking.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
